Hello there! I’m Peter G Martin and I’m a #1 international bestselling author who likes to make people feel good. I’m originally from England and have had a long career in aerospace manufacturing in San Diego, California. Now retired, my wife Kathryn and I live in Santa Barbara.
When my children were born, I began spontaneously creating adventure stories with the different subjects that my children Hannah and Gavin would give me at bedtime. Now, I want other children around the world to get the same pleasure from these stories as my children did. I’m proud to donate a percentage of the proceeds from my book sales to support the families and children served by Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation; often providing the immediate out-of-pocket, non-medical expenditures that are rarely reimbursable.
This is a very personal partnership for me as my son was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017, and survived. While going through this grueling battle with my son and family, I was shocked by the number of children suffering from all forms of cancer. This generated the impetus for me to complete my first book, Dragons on the Purple Moon, with the simple goal of bringing joy to children with cancer by reading his book to them in hospitals, homes or virtually.
